What I have learned so far....

1.  A floor nurse and pregnancy may not be the best combination.
2. Milk has become my enemy.
3. People love to say "You will never get your body back." Thank you Captain Obvious. Side note: one of my close friends from high school did tell me that since I have been so sick like she was,  I might get lucky and be at my pre-pregnancy weight when I leave the hospital. I love that friend.
4. A pregnant woman can survive on saltines, toast, applesauce and gatorade.
5. I am at the point with this pregnancy that I have less than a 5% chance of having a miscarriage.
6. I can tell which co-workers have been pregnant, they are so helpful and do not let me do the heavy lifting or yell at me when I have already done it. I love those co-workers, they also make sure I get time to eat (even if it is just toast and PB)!
7. When you tell someone you are pregnant their eyes automatically go to the stomach, people I am only 13 weeks and have lost 12 lbs there is no bump yet! (I am now 14 weeks, I sent this to our family last week via email)
8. I have the best husband in the world.
9. I have great mom and mother-in-law.
10. Locals: Bluffton Regional has the slowest registration process just to get labs done, it is almost worth it to drive up to Lutheran. Trust me I know I have already had blood drawn three times. Also the Lutheran Lab Techs take you seriously and use the butterfly needle when you tell them you are a hard stick.
11. Due date is 9/2/2013. Yes that is Labor Day, ironic I know.

*We have not decided if we are going to find out  the gender yet. We do have a girl name picked out and  have boy names that we like*
