will it ever slow down??

So every Monday I think to myself this week is when our schedule is going to slow down but it never seems to work out that way!!

Monday: work (yuck) and Jeremy works late ;(
Tuesday: work and Bible Study
Wednesday: off to go to Shippshewana with my mom and sister :)
Thusday: work in Auburn and fly home to get to class on time in Bluffton. Hopefully get done with class early because its Grey's Anatomy night--although I was VERY disappointed in the way the show turned last season may stop watching it.
Friday: school--lab practical(test) YUCK!!

I just don't get how the week fills up so fast!! I feel like Jeremy and I never have time together so we have decided to make Wednesday "NO TV Night" to have our own date night at home. Last week Jeremy made a little fire outside and had s'mores. So if anyone has creative ideas of cheap things to do at home I am open for suggestions!!

BIG day tomorrow

8:00am-11:50am: A&P 102 First Lecture Exam and a Lab Quiz--YUCK!!

After school is done, I plan on meeting my niece for the first time and seeing the rest of her family that I haven't seen Christmas!!

4:00pm: Street Fair with all of my nieces and nephew(yep that is not plural poor guy) and the rest of the family-except Jeremy ;(
6:00pm: Get hubby so we can meet our friends at the Fair :)

I am SO excited for everything after 11:50am tomorrow, it is going to be a fun weekend!!

Brunch with friends=good times and laughter

One of my high school friends came up with this great idea for all of us that are still in the area or just moving back to meet about once a month just to catch up with each other. This Saturday we decided to meet at the Bean. You know how it is once you get a lot of women together we tend to talk about anything and everything in super fast mode. One conversation that had as all laughing went as follows:

friend: Street fair is next week
other friend: yea the budget is kind of tight right now, so I was thinking we could take our tithing money and just make sure we eat at all the church place. that would work right??
group reply: hahahahaha

So it still makes me giggle when I replay it in my head!! But I get what my friend means about a tight budget. Jeremy and I are really trying to save hard for when I will be in school full-time, since we don't know if I will be working or not. So we are just planning to go up to the good old street fair on Friday and staying away the other days. Plus it helps that I have my first A&P test on Friday and night class on Thursday so there is not a lot of time in the schedule to head that direction.

Is there such a thing as an emotional shopper?!?!

So I don't know if anyone else is like me but I think instead of being an emotional eater, I could possibly be an emotional shopper!! If I am having a bad day I feel helps if I go shopping and if I am having the best day I feel it should be topped of with shopping. Its not that I have to come out with a $100 worth of stuff, I can just come out with a shirt from the clearance rack and feel like I am on top of the world-I actually feel better if the item is a bargin. But today I did the unimaginable I went to the mall after class to run an errand for my mom and I was able to leave the mall without one shopping bag--my husband was amazed!!

Thankful Friday

TGIF!! I have decided that I am going to try and write a "thankful friday" every friday, we will see how long it last ;)

*Today I am thankful for the rain and that I have a house to keep me dry. I am especially thankful for the rain because we just planted grass seed hoping that it was going to finally rain this weekend!!*
