skiing

Jeremy and I went skiing this weekend, well I skied and he snowboarded. I was super nervous about skiing because I have only went once in my life and that was 15yrs ago!!

BUT I had a lot of fun and would def do it again:) Did I take any pictures you ask?? Nope!!

The ski lifts make me very nervous and every time I was on one I really did feel sick to my stomach but I never fell off nor did I fall getting off--Success!!

Jeremy's quote of me skiing "you did awesome babe and you were really fly down the hill!!" So I flew down the hills we tried everything to get me to go slower and it just seemed to make me go faster but I was really good at going side to side and dodging the other people on the slopes. On my last run I did go a good slow speed until about 3/4th's of the way down then I shot off like a rocket but I was always able to stop at the bottom, thankfully!!

cinnamon rolls and my new nephew :)

My cute little nephew, Maddox!

picture order: me, my sister Heidi and my sister Melissa
*I think that I look like the odd one in the picture--probably the brown curly hair*

So after being married for a little over 4 years I finally used the bread machine we received as a gift!! I wish I would have got it out before now :)

Jeremy says I got myself in trouble w/ these no more store bought!! Thats ok because they are super easy :)

Bread Machine Cinnamon Rolls(recipe found on moneysavingmom.com)

Dough:
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons warm milk
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 egg, lightly beaten plus 2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups flour (Add a bit more if dough seems too wet after first few minutes of kneading in the bread machine.)
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons bread machine yeast

Filling:
2 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup brown sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon cinnamon(I doubled this part but did not use all of it, so i would probably do one and 1/2 rather then double it)

Icing:
1 teaspoon milk
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar(i would probably decrease this amount the next time, maybe start w/ a cup and add more if it needs it)
4 tablespoons (or less) butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla

Put the dough ingredients in the bread machine in the order listed and run on the dough cycle. After the dough cycle is finished, roll the dough into a large rectangle and spread it with 2 Tablespoons melted butter and 2/3 cup brown sugar mixed with 1 Tablespoon cinnamon.

Roll up and cut into 10-15 rolls and place in two greased round cake pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until browned. Spread the icing on as soon as they come out of the oven.

You can also cover the unbaked rolls with plastic wrap, stick them in the refrigerator overnight, and then bake in the morning.(I froze some)

Does anyone have a good recipe for bread machine pizza dough?? It is my turn to plan "Date Night" and I am thinking of doing one at home w/ pizza and a tournament on the wii.
