My last day of school is going to be 7/9/12--as long as I pass everything!!! It is hard to believe I will be done, I feel that it has consumed our lives these past couple of years.
What I need to get in the next 6 weeks:
~800 review NCLEX review questions--almost done
~something like 11 test
~6 weekly clinical anecodals
~3 teaching projects
~3 journals for mental health clinical
~3 case studies
~2 careplans
~2 support groups on my own time and paper about them
~1 concept map
~ math test requirement to graduate
The list is slightly overwhelming...one day at a time

7/15/12
7/15/12 is when I will be done with school!
7/15/12 I will be able to give a big SIGH of relieve.
7/15/12 will be a bittersweet day--I have made some amazing friends that I would never met if I would not have went back to school. If I would have met them on the street I probably wouldn't be friends with them today. We definitely come from different walks of life but they are amazing women.
and if I could just train her to do the laundry my life would be a lot easier!!!

Keep on Keepin' on
My Grandpa was none for his rhyming he is something he wrote after they had a major barn fire in the '60's. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season.
When disaster strikes at your house, it is more real to you than any atom bomb,
and you have a right to wonder what keeps you keeping on.
Here is where I claim to be something of a pro!
And these four things I know …
If you have friends and neighbors (and you have them if you are one);
and if your wife and kids still love you;
and if your faith in God above you is firm and strong;
and if your credit is good – that is all you need to keep you keeping on.
Someday you will find that the clouds will have a silver lining.
The day will be fair and the sun a shining.
And in your heart you will have a song,
because instead of sittin’ and quittin’, these things keep you keeping on!

Update!

(photo taken by moments by pam)
So its been awhile since I have posted, I guess working full-time and going to school part-time willdo that to a person!! My last post was one step past being absolutely depressing.
Here is some good news:
-My parents are back together
-We had a slight cancer scare but test results came back benign(insert wiping the sweat of forehead)
-I am on a much needed Christmas break :)
-Good friends of our's found out they are pregnant after trying for years
-I realized lastnight that at this time next year I should be done with school, never thought I would see the light at the end of the tunnel!!
Hope everyone is having a great start to the holiday season!!

sometimes i don't if i should cry or scream...
so to say this semester has been rough could be considered an understatement.
-they(the school) 'forgot' about the part-timer's when they put the fall schedule together. which means we are stuck taking the full-time schedule--not fun! the upside is i will be done with two of my classes the second week of Oct and my clinical will be done the first week of Nov which means i will have a llllloooonnngggggg much needed break
-working full-time and i have a full school load is going to send me to a facility with a padded room. upside i have the best husband who will do things around the house especially if he wants clean clothes :) no seriously he has been wonderful and i could not get through my crazy life without him(or my faith)
-my parents have been separated since i don't even know Mayish?? yes they still live in the same house and yes it has been difficult which could also be considered as an understatement. yes there are times when i just want to yell at both of them and say you are giving up on 30+ years of marriage. the hardest part is one does not want ti be divorced and the other one does--what do you say??
no pity party here just ready for the 3rd week of Oct!!!! and the 2nd week of Nov!!
i realize this is all in lower-case and it will stay that way :)
